Paying via iDEAL is the main payment method for many websites and online shops.
In the coming period, there will be a change in how iDEAL payments are processed technically: iDEAL will become part of the European Wero payment platform. In this blog, we explain what Wero is, why this change is happening, and most importantly, what it means for you as a website owner.
What is Wero?
Wero is a new European payment platform being developed through a collaboration of major European banks. Its goal is to make payments faster, safer, and more future-proof, both online and on mobile.
iDEAL will remain iDEAL, but future payment processing will take place via Wero.
